I am the kind of guy I’m attracted to.

it’s probably why and how I can easily let go of the guys I get fond of - I get bored after a while

If Life’s a Game

I always assume I’m the weakest, physically.
But I always push and compete against the strongest - most often, the guys.

Academic Hell Week

School ruins everything. The finals week(s) ruins everything.

I have forgotten and stopped taking pictures for that project 365 challenge.

I have not studied dance.

I have not attended judo classes.

I have stopped (hopefully, temporarily) jogging and working out.

I have returned to consuming junk food regularly - must stop already!

I have been sleeping really late - unlike my plan and resolution to sleep earlier.

There are times

that you just can’t wait for things to end.

But deep inside you, you know you’re not ready.

I wonder why

it’s usually easier to sleep on the couch than in bed.

Mediocrity

I know cramming is bad but there are times (and certain things) accomplished faster and better when crammed. For example, writing a paper or essay on whatever that’s a week dew puts you in front of the computer for three hours every day with only two lines as your input - and whatever you end up with still requires editing. But when you do it the night before, a little over an hour and you’re done!

Just as we joked around during the start or quarter of the sem, we’ll do the 20 internet-based homeworks the day before the deadline.

Usually, when I cram stuff on the computer, I start out sitting properly (straight back, chin up, etc.) but after a while, my back and my butt would hurt and I would change into “L sitting position.” (but I still type with my pointer fingers anchored on f and j)

I hate group work…because I hate working with people - generally, I hate people. =| unfortunately, most of our homework have to be done with our classmates instead of “any friend.” AUTOMATIC DEDUCTIONS!!! because I cannot cram those homeworks anymore (unless the deadline is extended…but I still don’t think I’ll make it on the deadline if ever it’s moved).

Other than my slow (and often erroneous) internet connection, I don’t like working online because there are many distractions. The lag of the internet allows time to browse other sites - we know what happens once you open a site you like… <— 9gag missing there

Hello classmates, these are my groupmates.

pmb by alvin

In the picture above is my classmate and groupmate Alvin. Last Friday, we (he) presented about PMB. It’s basically a fully featured, open source, integrated library system (that’s what Wiki said). The reports were only assigned last Wednesday so I feel like we didn’t really have enough time to explore and learn much about the software. What made the exploration even more difficult is that PMB’s site is in French and the translations (flags on the side) don’t work. However, we learned last Friday that you can enter a URL in Google Translate and it translates pretty much everything.

It was nowhere near my presentation about online presentation tools (using Prezi) where I can practically discuss it with my eyes closed (the parts about Prezi, at least - just because I’ve used Prezi a number of times and the basics are quite easy anyway).

OT: The atmosphere/environment in SLIS is so different from when I was in Engineering (even though the people are the same). This is both good and bad.

Nearing the End

I’m starting to get lazy with taking pictures… This is bad! I’m not even able to catch up with the project 365 challenge emi gave me.

The sem’s almost ending and it’s time for pictures with classmates and groupmates!!!

group pic

In one of my classes, as above, there’s this requirement that we should take a picture with ten classmates, one picture each. Because I’ve been very lazy taking pictures and I don’t really like asking other people to take pictures of me (yes, even though everyone’s doing it in class anyway - see below) and I don’t like having my pictures taken, I was okay with blurred and not-so-well-taken pictures.
